8.3 Self Check
In order to perform a self check, press and hold the “Check” button,
highlighted beside, for 3 seconds.
The self check will not be performed if the amp is in one of these 3 conditions:
Amp is off
Amp is in Energy Save Mode
The standby LED is on, or flashing.
Connect the unit to a dummy load, disconnect any input.
Switch the unit on and wait for the “Ready” configuration portrayed beside
to appear.
Check if the STANDBY LED is off.
Press and hold the “Check” button for 3 seconds
The self check will start once the “Check” LED turns on. (Blinking)
Once the self check is complete, the front LED panel will show the result
of the test.
In this example the unit is displaying a fault in the AMP SECTION.
In this example the unit is displaying normal operating conditions.
Once the self check operations are complete, press the “POWER” button
and wait for the conclusion of the startup procedure.
Check the “Troubleshooting Self Test LED Error” table for further reference
In this example the unit is displaying a fault in the POWER SUPPLY.
