MAINTENANCE

WARNING:

In order to avoid personal injury and the risk of fire and electric shock, Disconnect appliance
from power supply before adjusting, inspecting, or cleaning the string trimmer.

CLEANING THE SPOOL HEAD

Stop the motor and disconnect appliance from power supply.
Clean dirt and debris from the spool head using a damp cloth with a mild detergent.

NOTE:

Wipe off the housing and the plastic components using a moist, soft cloth. Do not use strong

solvents or detergents on the plastic housing or plastic components. Certain household cleaners may
cause damage, and may cause a shock hazard.

GENERAL INSPECTION

1.

Regularly check that all the fixing screws are tight. They may vibrate loose over time.

2.

If the supply cord is damaged , it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

STORAGE

1.

Switch the product off and disconnect it from the power supply.

2.

Store the trimmer away from direct sunlight.

3.

Do not store in a nylon bag as this can encourage the formation of mold.

4.

Store it in a well-ventilated place that is inaccessible to children.

5.

Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and de-icing salts.

6.

At the end of the season, give the trimmer an overall cleaning and a thorough check.
