Ensure before use that the lock-
ing devices of the ladder function
and that all pulled out segments
are locked correctly before you
get onto the ladder.
Do not leave children alone and
unattended with the set up ladder.
Do not step on the top three
rungs of the ladder.
Do not move the ladder whilst
standing on it.
Ensure that the ladder is correctly
secured if you reposition it.
Only get on the ladder if you
have positioned it at the correct
angle of 75 ° (inclination angle
1:4).
CAUTION! CRUSHING
HAZARD!
If you do not exercise caution
when pulling out or collapsing
the ladder you could trap or
crush your fingers.
Exercise caution when pulling
out or collapsing the ladder.
Ensure that your fingers, hands
and arms are at the same height
as the release buttons which have
been pressed when collapsing
the ladder.
Locking device
The individual ladder segments are
locked when you pull out the ladder
by means of the locking devices on
the rungs

Always check whether
all the pulled out segments
have been locked cor-
rectly before you get
onto the ladder:
• The locking device of a segment
has been locked when the red
section beside both release but-
tons

of a rung is no longer
visible (see Fig. B).
If you exert pressure on any rung
it will not be pushed down.
• The locking device of a segment
has not been locked when the
red section beside one or both
of the release buttons

of a
rung is visible (see Fig. C).
If you exert pressure on any
rung it will be pushed down.
Ensure when you are pulling
out the ladder from the top
downwards that the individual
sections are only locked when
you have pulled out the ladder
to its total length.
