Roof
1. Your apex will come with two roof panels. These are not handed so can go on either side and does not
matter which direction the tongue and groove of the boards run as it will be covered by the felt and
bargeboards. They can go any way up.
2. Place the roof panels. Screw the roof panels together (internally) using 70mm screws.
There should be 6 screws joining the roof panels together.
3. Ensure the roof panels are positioned evenly at each end of the shed.
There will be no roof overhang a
t the gable end and so if one is overhanging and the other isn’t then the
position of the roof panel needs evening out. Then, screw the roof panels to the side wall panels with 50mm
screws (ensuring you screw down in to every upright piece of framing on the side walls) and screw the roof
panels into the gables at each end with 35mm screws (4x screws for each gable)
