All persons entering the work area must wear a mask specially designed for protection
against lead paint dust and fumes.
Children and pregnant women must not enter the work area.
Do not eat, drink or smoke in the work area.
Do not leave the tool running. Operate the tool only when hand-held.
Ventilate your work area adequately when you perform sanding operations.
Be sure that there are no cracks or breakage on the pad before use. Cracks or breakage
may cause a personal injury.
7 ASSEMBLY
7.1
Attaching the sandpaper
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the mains plug.
To attach sanding paper, first remove all dirt or foreign matter from the sanding base
plate. Then attach the sanding paper to the sanding base plate, using the hook-and-
loop system of the sanding paper and the sanding base plate.
Make sure the perforations in the paper coincide with those on the sanding base plate,
to ensure optimal dust collection.
The sandpaper should rest flush on the base plate and must not come loose.
Select sandpaper with the correct grain size.
You can be sure to find the right sandpaper among our product range (see
accessories).
7.2
Dust extraction.
Attaching the dust bag :
Dust is extracted straight through the sanding
disk and Packing pad into the dust bag.
Important! In the interests of your health, always use the dust bag!
7.3
Auxiliary handle
Install the auxiliary handle on the tool so that its protrusions fit into the matching
notches in the front of the tool.
Attach the auxiliary handle by screwing the screw down firmly through the opening in
the auxiliary handle.
The auxiliary handle makes possible comfortable handling and optimum force
application, especially for high material removal.
