1.
Wrap the external threads of the air regulator with sealant tape. Leave the
leading threads unwrapped.
a.
Wrap tape in a clockwise direction so it will not unravel.
b.
Do not tape all the threads. Leave several leading threads unwrapped
for easier alignment.
2.
Screw the coupler plug into the air regulator until snug. Tighten with a
wrench if necessary.
3.
Run the compressor at a low volume and check the connection for air
leaks. Do not use the tool until all air leaks are repaired or the faulty
component is replaced.
IMPORTANT! Vibration may cause failure if a quick coupler is connected
directly to the air tool. To overcome this, connect a leader hose to the
tool. A quick coupler may then be used to connect the leader hose to the
air line hose.
OPERATIONS
WARNING! Immediately release the trigger if the tool's bit becomes
stuck or jammed. The tool’s torque can twist your arm and cause an
injury. The tool may twist out of your grip and cause an injury to
yourself or a bystander.
IMPORTANT! Only use an accessory that exceeds the Speed rating (see
Specifications).
1.
Pull the collet backwards towards the
tool.
2.
Insert the dual screwdriver bit into the
collet, then release the cap to allow it to
snap back and lock the bit into position.
•
You can install a regular drill bit by
inserting the bushing into the collet,
then inserting the drill bit into the
bushing.
3.
Pull on the screwdriver bit to make sure it is locked in place.
4.
Attach the air hose from the air source to the tool's air coupler plug.
5.
Twist the air regulator knob to allow air to flow.
