4. Maintain the tool’s labels and name plates. These carry important information.

WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should repair the tool. An
improperly repaired tool may present a hazard to the user and/or others.
BATTERY CHARGING
The battery will take 3 to 5 hours to recharge.
The battery has 3 LEDs to indicate the battery’s
charge level. The LED will ‘twinkle’
while the battery is charging, then
change to a steady glow once
charging is complete.
Charge the battery with the air
temperature between 50 to 86 °F (10
to 30 °C) for the best results. Charging the battery when the temperature is below 0
°F (32°C) or above 113 °F (45 °C) can damage the battery and render it useless.
CLEANING
Only clean with a damp cloth. Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts.
To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug the charger from the outlet before
attempting any cleaning. Removing the battery pack will not reduce this risk.
BATTERY STORAGE
1. Prevent a build-up of explosive gases by storing the battery in a ventilated
area or container that will disperse the small amounts of gas created.
2. Do not store the battery completely discharged. Charge it fully before
storing. Recharge occasionally if storing for a long time.
3. Do not store in temperatures over 140°F/60°C. The battery may rupture or leak.
DISPOSAL
Recycle a tool damaged beyond repair at the appropriate facility.
Contact your local municipality for a list of disposal facilities or by-laws for
electronic devices, batteries, oil or other toxic liquids.
