Axial Pump Water Seal Kit

WATER CHECK O-RING KIT
1. Check that the Water Check O-ring Kit has all the components before
disassembling the pump.
2. Hold the pump firmly. Use an Allen wrench to loosen the four bolts (#55).
Remove the pump manifold assembly and set aside.
3. Remove the check ring spacer with circlip pliers and slide it off the plunger
(#10) (Fig. 7).
4. Remove the o-ring (#16) from inside the spacer with a small pin or
paperclip (Fig. 8).
5. Dispose of the old o-ring (Fig. 9).
6. Insert the new o-ring into the check ring spacer by hand. Make sure it is
firmly seated (Fig. 10).
7. Use the circlip pliers to reinsert the check ring spacer (Fig. 11).
8. Repeat with other two check ring spacers.
9. Hold the pump firmly. Tighten the bolts to 14.75 ft-lb / 20 N-m with a
torque wrench (Fig. 12).
