TROUBLE SHOOTING

Possible Problem(s)

Suggested Solution(s)

Are the engine and fuel switches in the

“ON” position?

Set the engine and fuel switches to the

“ON” position.

Check the oil and gas levels on the engine.

Refill the oil and gas levels as needed.

Is the water tap open?

Open the water tap.

Check the choke and throttle levers.

Move the choke and throttle levers to the

proper position.

Is the correct nozzle in the lance?

Select the proper nozzle for the task at hand.

Is the nozzle plugged?

Use a pin to clear the obstruction.

Is the water inlet screen clogged?

Clean the water inlet screen.

Lance or quick couplers are leaking.

Replace the O-rings in the lance and quick

couplers as needed.

Difficulty starting the engine.

Check the throttle position and ensure the air

filter and spark plug is clean.

NOTE:

Make sure that the engine is turned off after each use. It should not be left running without

use for longer than two minutes as the pump can overheat.
