ASSEMBLY
Before inserting a drill bit or accessory, make sure that the tool’s trigger switch is released (in the OFF position). Do
not attempt to tighten any accessory by gripping the front of the chuck and turning the tool ON. When removing
the bit from the tool, use proper protective gloves, avoid contact with skin, when grasping the bit or accessory.
Accessories may be hot after prolonged use.

1. Rotate the chuck sleeve counter-clockwise to open the chuck.
2. Insert the shank of the bit or the accessory into the chuck. Make sure that the shank stays in the center of
the jaws of the chuck.
3. Close the chuck by rotating the chuck sleeve clockwise and securely tightening by hand.
REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK

1. Make sure that the tool’s trigger switch is released (in the OFF position) and
the trigger lock lever switch is in the locked (neutral) position.
2. Press the release button on the front of the drill to release the battery pack.
3. Pull the battery pack free from the drill.
ATTACHING THE BATTERY PACK
1. Make sure the tool’s trigger switch is released (in the OFF position) and the
trigger lock switch is in the locked (neutral) position.
2. Align the raised portion of the battery pack with the groove in the battery
compartment of the tool.
3. Push the battery pack in place. Do not use the tool if the battery pack is not installed properly.
