1.4 System

Architecture

RUBY-9712VG2A includes Intel 915GV PCI Express chipset, Marvell 88E8053 PCI
Express x1 interface Gigabit Ethernet controller, Realtek ALC880 High Definition
Audio Codec and Winbond Super I/O.

The 915GV chipset supports the latest LGA775 package Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron
D processor with 800/533MHz front side bus; up to 2GB DDR 333/400 SDRAM
system memory in dual DIMM sockets; four PCI master; three SATA ports; one IDE
port and six USB 2.0 ports on RUBY-9712VG2A.

The Realtek ALC880 7.1 Channel High Definition Audio codecs also supports 32-bit
SPDIF input and output functions and sampling rate up to 96kHz, offering easy
connection to high quality consumer electronic products such as AC-3
decoders/speakers and mini disk devices.

Winboard Super I/O provides connection of PS/2 interface keyboard & mouse; dual
serial port; one parallel port; Watch-dog timer and GPIO interface.
