RAIL SAW SR-10-26-O & SR-10-26-1
ORIGINAL OPERATION MANUAL
WARNING
Pressurized fluid escaping from a damaged hose can penetrate the skin and be injected in the body causing
injury or death.
CAUTION
Do not pull on hoses to drag power unit or tool.
NOTE
When possible, connect the free ends of uncoupled hoses to prevent build up in the hoses. The sun can also increase pressure in
the hoses and make connecting them difficult.

Operation
1.
After a new blade is installed, hold the blade away from the rail and run the saw at full speed for one minute before starting
work.
WARNING
Keep all bystanders out of the work areas.
2.
With saw securely mounted to clamp lift the abrasive blade over the rail and slowly squeeze the trigger lock in the handle
tube. Hold saw with both hands. Use a firm grip. Start the cut with the saw running. Do not bump the rail.
NOTE
Cut through material as fast as possible without reducing blade speed. DO not hold saw in one place. Heat buildup will result if
the material is cut too slowly of if the blade is held in one spot. Heat buildup will cause the rail to expand and pinch the blade.
“Pinching” the blade is the most common reason why blades break.
3.
Start by cutting the ball of the rail by rocking the saw arm back and forth. Do not hold the blade in one spot. Cut from the
ball as deep as possible. Rotate blade to far side of rail, keeping the blade in the cut. Continue to cut the web and base of the
rail simultaneously until through. If the blade diameter is too small to cut completely thought, swing the saw over the rail
and finish the cut.
4.
The blade guard will rotate with the blade position and provide protection to the operator at all times.
