Removing the drive battery

Put the key in the lock cylinder on the drive 
battery holder at the top end of the down 
tube on the left-hand side of the frame and 
turn it clockwise. Use your hand to stop the 
drive battery from falling out.

The drive battery is released from the lock 
mechanism in the down tube. A two-part 
locking plate holds the drive battery in 
position and prevents it from falling out. 
Press the two-part locking plate and remove 
the drive battery from the eBike.
