You will find information about riding on
public roads The section “Riding on public
roads” on page 24 must be observed.
Before you ride on the roads, find out about
any special requirements in your country.
Checking the bolts
Lift your eBike about 10 cm off the ground
with both wheels at the same height and let
it fall vertically onto its tyres. If you hear any
rattling noises, this can indicate that some
components are loose.
Find out where the noises are coming from
and check the screw connections, the
positioning of the drive battery and the
bearings. If you are in any doubt, contact your
ROTWILD authorised dealer.
Riding on public roads
If you want to ride your PORSCHE eBike on
public roads, you must ensure that it has the
equipment needed to meet the legal
requirements in your country.
Incorrect or inadequate setup of the eBike.
An eBike that has been incorrectly or
inadequately setup can cause a serious
accident.
Do not use the eBike if it does not meet one
of the requirements in this section. If you
have questions or are unsure about using
your eBike for the first time, contact your
Porsche Centre or ROTWILD authorised
dealer.
Fatigue damage and wear.
Damage due to fatigue and wear can take
the form of scratched, bent or cracked
components or a poorly functioning eMTB.
Components that have passed the end of
their service life may suddenly fail. Check
your eBike regularly for signs of fatigue
damage and wear. Replace the handlebar
grips and plugs if they are damaged or worn.
