Smart Service
General safety instructions
WARNING
Configuring settings and
operating while driving
Configuring settings and operating the multifunction
steering wheel, infotainment system, etc. while
driving can distract you from the traffic. You may
lose control of the vehicle.
e
Only operate these components while driving if
the traffic situation allows.
e
If in doubt, stop in a safe place and only carry out
extensive operations and settings while the ve-
hicle is at a standstill.
Functions
Some components in the vehicle require regular
maintenance or replacement. Maintenance and re-
pair data for these components can be called up and
updated with the Smart Service (availability de-
pendent on country). If maintenance or repairs are
necessary for the components, a message is dis-
played on the central display.
Activating Smart Service
Activation takes place as part of the Connect Care
package in the Connect Store. The function is then
automatically available in the vehicle.

Have the component maintained or repaired at
the next opportunity:
Consult an authorized Porsche dealer. Porsche
recommends an authorized Porsche dealer, as
they have trained technicians and the necessary
parts and tools.
The following functions are available:
– Read out message.
– Display nearby authorized Porsche dealer in the
central display.
– Close message. The message appears again
when the PCM is restarted.
