Automatic Transaxle Fluid
(2.4L L4 and 3.5L V6 Engines)

It is not necessary to check the transaxle fluid
level. A transaxle fluid leak is the only reason for
fluid loss. If a leak occurs, take your vehicle to
the dealership service department and have
it repaired as soon as possible.

Change the fluid and filter at the intervals listed in

Additional Required Services on page 434

, and be

sure to use the transaxle fluid listed in

Recommended Fluids and Lubricants on page 442

.
