OnStar

®

(if equipped)

Programming the Transmitter

With the ignition OFF, program the

transmitter as follows:

1. Press and hold down the two outside

buttons until the indicator light flashes

and then release the buttons (about

20 seconds — do not hold for more

than 30 seconds); do not repeat this

step for the second or third devices

to be added to the system.

2. Hold your hand-held transmitter

near the surface of the HomeLink

®

transmitter. Then hold the button on

the hand-held unit and the button on

the HomeLink

®

transmitter you will

assign it to.

3. Continue holding both buttons (up to

90 seconds); the indicator light will

begin blinking slowly and then more

quickly. Programming is complete

when the light on the HomeLink

®

transmitter flashes rapidly.

4. Release both buttons; then press and

hold the HomeLink

®

button again. If

the indicator light remains lit, pro-

gramming is complete.

To program the remaining two

HomeLink

®

buttons, begin with Step 2

(above). Do not repeat Step 1, as this

will erase all of the programmed

channels.

See Section 2 of your Owner Manual.

Note: If the HomeLink

®

indicator light

blinks rapidly for two seconds and

remains on, it indicates that your device

(usually a garage door opener) has a

“rolling code.” See your Owner Manual.
