Automatic Climate Control System
Automatic Operation: Press the AUTO
button (see “A” above) for automatic
control of inside temperature, air deliv-
ery mode and fan speed.
Driver’s Side Temperature: The driv-
er’s side temperature knob (see “B”
above) sets the air temperature for the
driver side of the vehicle. Push the knob
to turn the system on and off. Turn it
clockwise and counterclockwise to heat
and cool accordingly. When the passen-
ger’s set temperature is not active, this
knob controls both sides of the vehicle,
and both DRIVER and PASS are dis-
played under the set temperature.
Passenger’s Side Temperature: The
passenger’s side temperature knob (see
“C” above) sets the air temperature for
the passenger side of the vehicle. Push
the knob to turn the system on and off.
Turn it clockwise and counterclockwise
to heat and cool accordingly. When this
knob is adjusted, only the word PASS is
displayed under the set temperature.

Recirculation: Press the Recirculation
button (see “D” left) to limit the amount
of outside air coming into your vehicle.
This feature can be used to prevent
outside air and odors from entering your
vehicle, or to help heat or cool the air
inside your vehicle more quickly. Press
this button to turn the recirculation mode
on or off. When the button is pressed,
an indicator light will illuminate. This
mode cannot be used with the FRONT
defrost mode.
Fan: Press the Fan button (see “E” left)
to display and hold the current fan
speed while in manual mode. Press the
HIGH side to increase fan speed and
the LOW side to decrease fan speed.
MODE: Press the MODE button
(see “F” left) repeatedly to cycle through
and choose the mode of air delivery.
The system will stay in the selected
mode until MODE is pressed again or
until the AUTO button is pressed. Each
manual mode setting works similarly to
the base climate control system
operation.
