4 – IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Maintenance and storage
After use, leave the skins and bag to dry
in a cool, well-ventilated place out of the
sun and away from any heat.
Leave you skins to dry at room tem-
perature. Never expose them to direct
sunlight, high temperatures, direct heat
from stoves, radiators, etc. as this can
damage the adhesive layer of your skins.
It is not always necessary to unfold your
skins completely to dry them. By drying
your skins open, you risk exposing the
glue to dirt (dust, falling on the ground,
contact with fluffy fabrics, etc.). Further-
more, if left in the open air and exposed
to light for a long period of time, your glue
will be subject to slight oxidation, causing
it to age more quickly.
We recommend that you check for the
presence or absence of moisture and/or
ice on the glue in the following cases: long
excursion, numerous skin re-fitting opera-
tions, snow or very wet weather.
To ensure optimum drying if moisture
or ice is present on the glue, leave your
skins to dry unfolded for 24 hours before
pressing them together to finish drying.
Once the skins are dry, use the POMOCA
bag to store them. Be careful never to
store them wet, especially of your do not
intend to use them for a long period of
time.
Check the adhesive applied to your skins
on a regular basis, especially at the begin-
ning of the season or after a prolonged
period of storage. In particular, check the
rear edge of the skins.
If you notice that the glued surfaces are in
a poor condition or are very dirty, re-glue
the skin. You can perform this operation
yourself or contact the nearest POMOCA
Service Center.
At the end of the season, store the skins
in a cool, clean and dark place not sub-
ject to moisture or excessive dryness.
We recommend that your fold your skins
against each other, adhesive next to ad-
hesive, to that the entire surface of the
membrane is covered.
