Safe useofthe pool
1. Encourageallusersespeciallychildrentolearnhowtoswim;
2. LearnBasicLifeSupport(CardiopulmonaryResuscitation-CPR)andrefreshthisknowledgeregularly.Thiscanmakealife-savingdifferenceintheeventofan
emergency;
3. Instructallpoolusers,includingchildren,whattodoincaseofanemergency;
4. Neverdiveintoany shallowbody of water.This canleadtoseriousinjuryor death;
5. Donot usetheswimmingpoolwhenusingalcoholormedicationthat mayimpairyourabilitytosafelyusethepool;
6. Whenpoolcoversareused,removethemcompletelyfromthewatersurfacebeforeenteringthepool;
7. Protectpooloccupantsfromwaterrelatedillnessesbykeepingthepoolwatertreatedandpracticinggoodhygiene.Consultthewatertreatmentguidelinesinthe
user’s manual;
8. Storechemicals(e.g.watertreatment,cleaningordisinfectionproducts)outofthereachofchildren;
9. Removableladdersshallbeplacedonahorizontalsurface(ifapplicable).

1. Checkallnutsandboltsfortightnessandtightenwhenrequired(ifapplicable).
2. Maximum allowable weight (150 kg).
3. Laddershallnotbeusedforotherpurposes.
Safety Care for Children
1. Inaswimmingpool,themajorriskforchildrenunder5isdrowningandthereforeitisrecommendedeitherduringthebathingperiodorat any othertimes,thatthe
preventionofunauthorisedaccesstoapoolshouldbeaidedbysecuringtheboundaryoftheproperty,ortherelevantareanearthepool. Wherethisisimpractical,
parents shouldseektosecurethe meansof access totheswimmingpool, whenitisnot inuse.
2. Thesafetyofyourchildrendependsonlyonyou!Thehighestriskiswithchildrenunderfiveyearsofage.Accidentsdonothappenonlytoothers!Bepreparedtorespond!
3. Rememberthatasaparent,youarealwaysresponsibleforyourchild’ssafety.
4.Childrenshall be under constant, active and vigilant supervision.The supervisor shall be capable of removing the child from the waterand calling the emergency services if necessary.
5. Designateoneparenttobethesupervisorinchargeof safety.
6. Teachyourchildrentoswimasearlyaspossible.
7. Prohibitdivingandjumpinginthepresenceofsmallchildren.
8. Donotallowchildrenwhocannotswimorareweakswimmerstoentertheswimmingpoolwithoutwearingproperprotection(PPE).
9. Childrenwhocannotswimorareweakswimmersshallnotenterthewaterunaccompanied.
10. Storewatertreatmentproductsoutofthereachofchildren.
11. Keepchildreninyourdirect sight,stayclose,andactivelysupervisethemwhenthey areinornearthis poolandwhenyouarefilling andemptyingthis pool.
12. When searchingfora missingchild,checkthe poolfirst, even ifthe childisthought to be inthe house.
Moreover,someequipmentcancontributetosafetyforchildrenunder5years:
1. Children’s personal protective equipment;
2. Protectionbarrierwhosegateisconstantlymaintainedclosed(forexample,ahedgecannotbeconsideredabarrierbutawall,orwoodenfencewouldberelevant
to prevent unauthorised access from neighbours, or animals);
3. Manualorautomaticprotectioncovercorrectlyinstalledandsecured;
4. Electronicmovementorfalldetector,inserviceandoperational;
buttheycannotreplaceclosesupervisionunderanycircumstancesevenduringthebathingperiods.
Swimming Pool Awareness
1. Thepoolistobeassembledbyanadult;careshouldbetakeninunpackingandassemblingthepool;thispoolmaycontainaccessiblepotentiallyhazardous
sharpedges orsharppointsthat areanecessary partofthepool’sfunction.
2. Thefloor of thepoolshallbe visibleat alltimes fromthe outside perimeterof thepool.
3. Neverallowhorseplay,diving,orjumpingintooraroundthepool.Seriousinjury,paralysis,ordeathcouldresultwhenthisruleisdisregarded.
DONOTALLOWanyonetoswimalonewithoutsupervision.
WARNING: This poolmustbeassembled onasmoothandlevelsiteoffirmsoilthat isfree of stones,gravel, sticks, black-top, orotheroilbasedcompounds.Do not
installpoolon awoodendeck oranytype of woodensurface.
NOTE: This poolhas amaximumwaterfilllevelmarkedontheinsidewall. Donot overfill; draintoproper level.
EMPTYINGPOOL: Pushdownonsidewalltoempty poolwaterand/orliftuponesideof pooltoemptypoolwater.
NOTE: 1. Poolcanbecleaned with mildsoapandlukewarmwater only.
2. Makesurepooliscompletelydry beforestoringtohelppreventmildewfromforming.
3. Storeallpartsinadry heatedareawheretemperatures donot gobelow0ºC (32ºF).
