Depending on the type of network cables you ordered, your system may have come with WAN cables, such as
ISDN, V.35, or RS-449 cables.
• If you have the four ISDN network cables, here’s how to connect them:
NT-1 Boxes: In the United States and Canada, most ISDN lines that come directly from an ISDN service
provider are U interface ISDN. Your system, however, supports S/T interface ISDN. An NT-1 box converts
U interface ISDN to S/T interface ISDN. If you need to use an NT-1 box, plug the ISDN cables into the
NT-1 box, and then plug the NT-1 box into the wall jack. See the instructions that came with the NT-1 box
for more details.
