TIPS FOR BETTER ACCESSORIES USAGE
Curtain freshener accessory (19) (Fig. 18)

• specially designed to iron curtains vertically

without removing them.

HOW TO USE IT:

Move the accessory downwards

in order to iron the curtains and to eliminate crea-
ses or smells, the useful sponge attached to the ac-
cessory will absorb any excess drops of steam.
To prevent the sponge wetting the curtains with ab-
sorbed water, simply remove the sponge and
squeeze it out, then replace the sponge by reatta-
ching to the accessory with velcro strips and go on
with ironing.

Using the steam control (

6

) it is possible to adjust

the quantity of steam according to the type of fabric
(more or less delicate). Rotating the knob counter-
clockwise the steam jet increases. Decrease the
steam by rotating the steam control clockwise
(fig.10)

Garment freshener (20) (Fig. 19)

• This accessory is suggested to remove crumbs,

dandruff, animal hairs and hairs from jumpers,
trousers, jackets, overcoats and from other texti-
les.

HOW TO USE IT:

pass the accessory against the

nap so as to remove all particles on the item to be
treated. Vaporize the cloth eliminating creases and
bad smells.

Small round brush (21) (Fig. 20)

• Recommended for removing hardened dirt on

hard to reach surfaces, such as corners, burners,
sanitary fixtures and inside the car. The different
colours let you use the same brush on the same
surface ensuring perfect hygiene.

Flat small brush (22) (Fig. 21)

• To remove hard dirt on very narrow surfaces,

such as tiles grout, door posts, shutters slats, ra-
diators and so on.

Curved lance (23) (Fig. 22)

• To sanitise difficult to reach surfaces which may

be difficult to reach with other accessories.

Thanks to its special shape, it produces a more
concentrated jet of steam.

For correct connection of the curved lance (23):

• separate the hose for steam gun accessories

(

18

) from the body of the appliance by turning it

anti- clockwise (fig.17)

• Hook the curved lance (

23

) to the tube with the

desired angle and fasten it by turning clockwise.

This appliance is equipped with a safety cap, which
prevents opening of the boiler as long as there is
any pressure remaining inside the boiler. This is an
important and  indispensable safety device, and it is
necessary to follow certain procedures when re-fil-
ling the boiler.
Lack of water is indicated by the water level war-
ning light (

4

), which lights up. When you have used

up all the water in the boiler, do as follows:
1d. Switch off the luminous boiler switch (

2

).

2d. Press the steam request button (

10

) so as to

fully exhaust the steam supply from the boiler.

3d. Switch off the Luminous accessory switch (

3

)

4d. Disconnect the power supply cable from the

mains.

5d. Unscrew anti-clockwise the patented safety

cap (

1

).

6d. Wait for a few minutes to allow the boiler to cool

down.

7d. When cool, proceed to carefully refill the boiler

as described in paragraph 3a of the section
“PREPARATION FOR USE” in the instructions.
If refilling the boiler when not completely coo-
led, we recommend that you use only HOT wa-
ter and that you carefully pour only very small
quantities of water at each pouring into the boi-
ler, so as to avoid spitting from the boiler.

Before attempting any maintenance opera-
tion, make sure to always disconnect the ap-
pliance from the mains.

• To clean the body of the appliance, simply use a

moist cloth. Do not use solvents or detergents,
which may harm the body material.

• Rinse the boiler every 2 months with clear water,

the washing traces will be brown, showing the
proper functioning of the decalcifier. In case of
very encrusted boiler, proceed in the following
way: leave only 0,5 liter water in the boiler, add 5
KALSTOP FP2003 doses; when the boiler is un-
der pressure, press the steam request button un-
til the steam is exhausted; unplug the appliance,
then rinse the boiler to eliminate all limescale re-
sidues. When the boiler is clean, proceed as nor-
mal.
