Your Vaporella is equipped with a patented safety
cap, which prevents opening of the boiler as long as
there is any pressure remaining inside. This is an
important and indispensable safety device, and it is
necessary to follow certain procedures when re-fill-
ing the boiler.
When no more water comes out of the iron, pro-
ceed as follows:
1d. Switch off the boiler (

2d Press the steam request button on the iron (

so as to fully exhaust the steam supply from
the boiler.
3d. Switch off the iron (

) .
4d. Disconnect the power cable from the mains.
5d. Unscrew anti-clockwise the patented safety cap
(

).
6d. Wait for a few minutes allowing the boiler to
cool down.
7d. When cool, carefully refill the boiler as de-
scribed in paragraph 1a of the section “PREPA-
RATION FOR USE”. If you refill the boiler when
not completely cooled, we recommend to pour
only very small quantities of water, so as to
avoid its immediate evaporation.

Before attempting any maintenance opera-
tion, always disconnect the appliance from
the mains.
• To clean the body of the appliance, simply use a
moist cloth. Do not use solvents or detergents
which may harm the body material.
• Rinse the boiler every 2 months with clear water,
the washing traces will be brown, showing the
proper functioning of the decalcifier. In case of
very encrusted boiler, proceed in the following
way: leave only 0,5 liter water in the boiler, add 5
KALSTOP FP2003 doses; when the boiler is un-
der pressure, press the steam request button un-
til the steam is exhausted; rinse the boiler to elim-
inate all limescale residues. When the boiler is
clean, proceed as normal.
