7 SHIPPING AND STORAGE
Instruments may be shipped by any closed transport, as long as the air
temperature is between -50 to +50
°
C. When carried by sea, instruments should be
packaged in hermetic plastic bags with silica gel. When carried by air, instruments
should be packaged in hermetic compartments.
The instruments should be stored in the original manufacturer’s package with
the air temperature between -15 to + 50
°
C and humidity less than 95 % at +35
°
C.
Instruments without its original packaging should be stored at 10
°
C to 35
°
C and
humidity less than 80 % at 25
°
C. The storage place should be free of dust and/or
vapors from strong chemicals and other substances that may cause corrosion.
