To change the coefficient n value shortly press the LIGHT button 16 (Fig.1)
during the next few seconds. The preset coefficient n value will start flashing
indicating that it can be changed. If the LIGHT button is not pressed during this
interval of time, the instrument will automatically go to the operating mode. Shortly
press the LIGHT button to decrease the coefficient n value in 0.1 steps or shortly
press the MODE button to increase the coefficient n value in 0.1 steps. If these
buttons are kept pressed the coefficient n value will decrease/increase faster in the
same steps. The instrument will automatically go to the Calibration mode 6 seconds
after the last button is pressed.
2.2.4.2 Switching ON/OFF Audible and Headphones Alarm
It is possible to switch on/off built-in audible alarm and headphones audible
alarm with the control buttons provided that this mode is enabled in the parameters
set in the PC communication mode. If this mode is enabled the built-in audible alarm
is switched on/off in the following manner:
−
press and hold the MODE button for more than 4 seconds to enter the
Settings mode. The LCD will display “CAL” message and then the instrument will
go to the coefficient n value;

shortly press the MODE button 12 until the LCD displays “Aud-oFF” or
“Aud-on”.
The “Aud” message means audible alarm, “oFF” (“on”) – switched off (on)
status of the audible alarm.
Use the LIGHT button 16 to change the status of the audible alarm when this
message is displayed. Wait for approximately 6 seconds to allow the instrument
automatically exit this mode or shortly press the MODE button 12 to exit.
The LCD will display “Vibr-oFF” or “Vibr-on”. There is no vibration alarm in
the instrument, so in order to switch ON the headphones alarm, it is necessary to
select “oFF” status of the vibration alarm. Follow the steps described above to make
settings and exit.
