The instrument communication with PC is described in details in the
"PM2012_Software Guide" file, installed on PC together with software.
To switch the PC communication mode off, press the SET button.
PM2012M Data Processing Software and PM2012MB Data processing Software enable the
operator:
1)
to change
operational parameters of the connected instrument:
•
time interval of history recording into instrument non-volatile memory;
•
DER threshold;
•
DE threshold;
•
switching between measurement units in the instrument;
•
switching on/off audible alarm in the instrument;
•
volume control of audio signaling device;
•
on/off sound of button pressing;
•
on/off display power saving mode;
•
setting time interval for switching display to power saving mode;
•
adjusting the display brightness;
•
on/off displaying the clock-calendar screen ;
•
internal time synchronization of microprocessor and PC;
•
forced history clearing;
2)
to retrieve
data from the instrument non-volatile memory (instrument operation history):
•
DER values in set time intervals;
•
time and date when the instrument was switched on/off;
•
time, date and current DER value when the preset DER threshold was exceeded;
•
time, date and current DE value when the preset DE threshold was exceeded;
•
time, date and current CWA concentration value when the preset detection
threshold was exceeded;
3)
to create
editable list of the users responsible for working with instruments that can be
saved and printed out;
4)
to register
(assign) instrument to a responsible user when the unit is given to him and
cancel registration when the user return the unit;
5)
to save
time, when the instrument was given to the user and returned, into the individual
history of the responsible user;
6)
to create
and renew the radiation and chemical control information database on the basis
of history events retrieved from the instrument;
7)
to save, view and print out
an individual history of each responsible user from the
database;
8)
to determine
the user history view area by filtering with the set criteria (time interval,
event type, and instrument number).
