• .JDR: This file can only be played back in the software provided.
• Image: Both .JPEG and .BMP image types are still pictures, and will only capture
a single frame of the video recording. Both formats can be viewed in Paint, Windows
Image Viewer, or most other image editing/viewing programs.
To save a video clip/image to your computer, follow the steps below:
• Select the video recording you want to save from the menu.
• Click on the ‘Save’ icon at the bottom of the viewer
• Select the format of recording you wish to save (AVI, JDR, JPEG or BMP) and select ‘OK’
• If you are saving a video, i.e. AVI or JDR, you can choose whether or not to save the
Audio recording with it. If so, click the ‘Audio’ box.
• Enter the file path you wish to save the recording to in the respective box, or select
‘Search’ to browse for the folder you want to save it in.
• Select ‘OK’ to save.
3.4 Printing
Selecting the printer icon from the viewer will preview a page to print with the following
information:
• Screenshot of the current video frame
• Map of the location from Google maps
• Co-ordinates of the vehicle in latitude and longitude
• Vehicle speed and time the frame was recorded
Select ‘Print’ to print the page.
