b) Electrical safety
•
The power socket into which the power adapter is inserted must be easily
accessible.
•
Only the power adapter supplied with the product may be used as
voltage source.
•
Only connect the power adapter to an appropriate mains socket
connected to the public supply. Before plugging in the power adapter,
check whether the voltage stated on the power adapter complies with the
voltage of your electricity supplier.
•
If the power adapter is damaged, you must no longer operate the product.
Switch the mains socket to which the power adapter is connected off at
all poles (switch off associated automatic circuit breaker or unscrew fuse,
then switch off the fault current circuit breaker). Only then pull the power
adapter out of the mains socket.
Then replace the defective power adapter with a power adapter of
identical design.
•
Never connect or disconnect power adapters if your hands are wet.
•
Never unplug the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the
cable; always use the grips on the plug.
•
When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are not pinched,
kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
•
Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled
in them. This poses a risk of injury.
•
For safety reasons, disconnect the power adapter from the mains socket
during storms.
c) Installation, connection and operation
•
Only install and use the product indoors in dry and closed rooms.
•
Do not use the product in rooms or under adverse ambient conditions,
where combustible gas, smoke or dust are or could be present! There is
a risk of explosion!
•
Use the product in moderate climates only. Do not use in tropical climates.
•
For installations in industrial facilities, follow the accident prevention
regulations for electrical systems and equipment of the government
safety organization or the corresponding authority for your country.
•
The product must not be operated in the packaging.
•
Do not hang any objects from the product and do not cover the product.
•
During operation, keep the product away from easily inflammable objects
or materials.

Intended use
The product is intended for decorative or effect lighting. It is intended for indoor
use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.
Fixing to suitable objects, e.g. furniture, is possible by using the adhesive tape
situated on the bottom side of the LED strip. Power is supplied via the included
power adapter.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product.
Using the product for purposes other than those described above may damage the
product. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuits, fire and
electric shocks. Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make
this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

a) General information

Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may
become dangerous playing material for children.

Protect the product from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, high

Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.

If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and
prevent unauthorized use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
