Traveling Uphill

Maximum

Whenever traveling uphill always travel straight uphill and:

1.Avoid steep hills.
2.Keep both feet on the footrests.
3.Transfer your weight forward.
4.Proceed at a steady rate of speed and throttle opening.

5.Remain alert and be prepared to take emergency action. This may include quick

dismounting of the ATV.

WARNING

Braking and handling are greatly affected whenever operating in hilly ter-

rain.
Loss of vehicle control or overturning of the ATV could occur.

Avoid operating on steep hills (25

maximum).
