GENERAL INFORMATION
This User Manual will help you get acquainted with the device, the technical data, operation rules and storage of the electric kettle, model POLARIS PWK
1702CGL (hereinafter referred to as the kettle, device).
2.
SCOPE OF USE
The device is intended for household use in accordance with this Manual:
in places of permanent residence;
at employee food service areas of shops, offices, farms and other departments;
in hotels and other places intended for living;
in places intended for overnight stay and breakfast.
The device is not intended for industrial and commercial use.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage resulting from improper use or use unintended in this Manual.

BEFORE YOU START
Before using the kettle for the first time remove all packaging and promotional materials from the outside and from the inside.
Place the power base on a smooth, clean, and cool surface.
Rinse the kettle several times with cold water.
Place the kettle on the power base.
Before using the water from the kettle for drinking we strongly recommend to boil the kettle 2-3 times changing the water and draining the boiled water to
clean the kettle from the inside.
Filter Installation
Remove the kettle lid by pressing the bottom surface of its handle.
Check if the filter is installed in the nose. Make sure that it is well fixed and installed correctly.
If the filter is not installed, insert its upper edge into the groove of the body opposite the kettle nose pressing with a minimal force on the bottom at the
protrusion with the arrow image and placing it with the convex side to the nose, then press this protrusion towards the nose until it clicks.
Close the lid.
Make sure that the filter is always well fixed in the kettle nose.

Filling the Kettle With Water
Remove the kettle from the power base before filling it with water.
Without removing the lid, pour cold drinking water through the hole with the valve in the kettle lid and ensure that its level is between the min and max
marks.
Attention: Do not insert a faucet tip or a pipe into the lid opening to prevent damage to the valve hinge. The lid must be closed so that its handle
is in the direction of the kettle's handle.

Turning on the Kettle
Before connecting the kettle to the power grid, make sure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate of the device (located at the
bottom of the kettle and power base) corresponds to the voltage in your grid.
Place the kettle on the power base.
Do not allow water to get into electrical connections.
