Start the test. The unit should begin to inflate the
cuff; when deflation begins, start timing.

Stop timing when the cuff releases pressure or
when results are displayed, whichever comes first.
The time should be about 25 s/- 5
seconds.

If the time is outside of this range, adjust the rate with the thumbwheel
adjustment located on the front of the 620.

Adjust the thumbwheel in small increments. Repeat steps 6-8 until the
rate is 25 s/- 5 seconds. The “
S
” stands for slower bleed rate, the
“
F
” stands for faster bleed rate. Adjust accordingly.
11.
This adjustment sets the general function of the unit. It is not necessary
to repeat for all cuff sizes. The rate will be slightly longer for the extra
large cuff and shorter for the small cuff. This is normal.
