Ending the return line at the top of the
tank is not recommended for shared or
auxiliary tanks.
The fuel will drain back
into the tank whenever the motor is shut off.
The motor will be slow to start, if it starts at
all.
This return line style also increases any
tendency of the fuel to foam.
