Input and Output Connectors
8.1
Power In
This information is provided for reference only. Use the recommended power supply and attached
cable provided by Plexon to power the controller. The power input connector is a locking 2.5 mm
inner / 5.5 mm outer barrel connector. The stimulator operates from a grounded 12V power
supply.
8.2
Digital In
Each channel in the stimulator has a dedicated digital input (DI) that can initiate stimulation on that
channel. See sections The inputs are TTL compatible.
8.3
USB 2.0
The stimulator has a type B USB 2.0 receptacle for communications with the host computer. The
device is not powered from the USB bus. It derives power from the power input connector.
