Different types of cookware are suitable for the use on an induction hob, but
induction cooking works best, when you use cookware with a thick base,
because the energy is very efficiently used and distributed then.
Avoid scrapping the glass ceramic of the hob when moving the cookware.
Lift the cookware for moving it.
Do not leave any cooking utensils on the hob when it is operating. It could
detect them as cookware and heat them up.
Cutlery will ordinarily not be detected as cookware, but larger utensils may be
detected as cookware.
Keep an eye on pressure cookers when using the higher induction settings.
Pressure cookers heat up very quickly.
7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Switch off the appliance and set all rotary knobs to position 0 before you
clean the appliance. The appliance must be cooled down completely
.
WARNING!
Do not use a steam cleaner. Risk of electric shock! The steam
can damage the electric components of the appliance.
Spills and splashes will not harden and stick on the glass because it hardly heats
up. Both glass-ceramic and induction rings should be cleaned of any spills and
splashes as soon as possible.
Slight stains can be removed by using kitchen paper or a cloth.
More resistant strains will need a specific product for cleaning ceramic-glass.
Follow the instructions of these products.
