These words contain the state of EXP1 serial
communication. Each bit of each word
signals a condition of missing communication
(off line) or error for each of the data
transmitted or received using the instructions
EXP_1-256
(for
example,
SM80.4=1
indicates an error in the instruction number
EXP-117(…)
). In the case of a serial line set
to slave protocol, the error condition is
signalled by putting a “1” in all of the bits of
the word SM73.
At startup, all of the words are initialized to 0.
