ATTENTION ATTENTION:
The curve refers to the best performances you get at cycle-start
and to the following operating conditions:
Fluid: Diesel
Temperature: 20°C
Suction conditions: the pipe and position of the pump with
regard to the level of the fluid is such that a back pressure of 0.4
bars is generated against the nominal flow.
Higher back pressure can be obtained in different suction con-
ditions; these can reduce the flow in accordance with the same
back pressure values.
To obtain beZer performance it is important to reduce suction pressure
losses as much as possible, following the guidelines below:
- make the suction pipe as short as possible
- avoid unnecessary elbows or reductions in
the pipe sizes
- keep the suction filter clean
- use a pipe with a diameter that is equal to or larger than the
minimum indicated
