PW Mobile
Replace the existing wiring
with the PW Mobile RS485
cable, complying with the
colour code.
Re-close the cover securing
the cable gland properly and
suitably refitting the gasket.

Individually isolate the ter-
minals of the removed cable
(e.g. using a terminal block
or insulating tape)
NOTE: There MUST NOT
be contact between the two
terminals.
Secure the cable to a sup-
port using cable ties or an-
other restraint system, so
that it does not affect the
other components of the dis-
tributor.
Lay the PW Mobile power
supply cable in the appropri-
ate supports or secure it to
the existing cable harness.
Make sure that the cable is
securely fastened and it can-
not move inside the distribu-
tor.

Remove the RS485 cable
from the junction box (and
from the PW LAN). Insert
the PW Mobile signal cable
through the released cable
gland. Comply with the exist-
ing colour order while making
connections.
Insert the PW Mobile power
supply cable through the un-
used cable gland into the PW
LAN box (located on the front
door). Connect as shown pre-
viously. Make sure the new ca-
bles are passed together with
the existing ones and to secure
them so that they cannot move
freely inside the column.
