Change Modem Parameters
Use this if you are directed to by a representative of your machine
supplier.
1. Press Options
2. Press Page Down twice.
3. Select ‘Connect to Data Centre’.
4. Select ‘Phone Parameters’.
5. Press Page Down.
6. Select ‘Modem Parameters’.
7. To change ‘Modem init string’
• Select ‘Modem init string’.
• Key in the new Modem Parameters (they will contain
alphanumeric characters as given by machine supplier).
or
To Set ‘Blind Dialling’.
• Select ‘Skip Dial Tone’.
• Select ‘Change to: Yes’.
• Select ‘Save and Exit’.
This setting can be used when a non-standard dial tone is used
on your telephone system.
or
To Set ‘Modem Speed’.
• Select ‘Modem Speed’.
• Select ‘Change to: XXXXX’.
Each press will toggle through the baud rates

56000
Slower speeds can be useful when connection problems occur.
• Select ‘Save and Exit’ to save new setting.
