5 • Adding Postage/Connecting to Data Centre

Connecting Your System to an Analogue Phone Line

Plug the telephone line (supplied) into the connector on the back of

the machine (see the figure below). Remember to use an analogue

phone line (your FAX machine is usually connected to one).

Connecting Your System Using PC Meter Connect

PC Meter Connect software must be installed onto your internet

enabled PC. Contact your machine supplier for details of how you

can obtain the software.
As you install PC Meter Connect software, you will be prompted

to connect your mailing system to your PC using a USB cable. PC

Meter Connect will then test your internet connection and and take

you through the software installation process.
Once installed there will be a PC Meter Connect icon in your PC's

system tray. Clicking this icon will give you access to PC Meter

Connect's internet settings and language selection.
