10. INSTALLING THE THERMOMETER

Parts Required:

1 x Thermometer

(#4)

Installation:

• Remove the preinstalled nut from the thermometer.
• Insert the thermometer into the hole provided on the top of the lid

on the main barrel, then secure by reinstalling the nut from the inside.

Rotate the thermometer so the text is level and upright.

NOTE: If rotation is askew, this will result in incorrect readings.

11. MOUNTING THE SIDE SHELF HANDLE, SERVING TRAY

Parts Required:

1 x Serving Tray

2 x Serving Tray Handle

(#32)

1 x Side Shelf Handle

Installation:

• Remove the four pre-installed screws from the side of the main barrel.

Mount the side shelf handle onto the main barrel using four screws

previously removed.

• Mount serving tray handles to serving tray using the two pre-installed

screws on each handle. Place the serving tray onto the side shelf

handle. It will rest directly on the frame of the side shelf handle.

IMPORTANT: Avoid using the side shelf handle to move or lift the

grill. The weight of the unit will cause the side shelf handle to bend

or break, which is not covered by warranty.

12. INSTALLING THE GREASE TRAY

Parts Required:

1 x Grease Tray

1 x Grease Tray Handle

Installation:

• Remove the pre-mounted screws from the side shelf handle. On the

edge of the grease tray with two holes, align the handle with the holes,

then hand-tighten the screw (from the inside) into the handle. Note 12A.

• Slide the grease tray into the tray opening on the front panel of the

unit. The grease tray is completely inserted once the front of the tray

is flush with the front panel of the unit. Note 12B.
