13. SECURING THE CHIMNEY

Parts Required:

1 x Chimney Gasket

(#34)

1 x Chimney Cap

(#29)

1 x Chimney Stack

(#33)

Installation:

• Locate the chimney opening on the side of the main barrel. Remove

the pre-installed screws.

• From the outside of the main barrel, secure the chimney gasket and

chimney stack to the side panel by re-installing the two screws. The

screw will fasten to the pre-mounted nut on the inside of the barrel.

• Next, secure the chimney cap onto the top of the chimney stack with

the screw and nut.

NOTE: Adjust the chimney cap to affect the airflow inside the main

grill. If cooking at low temperature, keep the cap more open. Ensure

the chimney cap allows for air to escape.

14. INSTALLING THE BOTTLE OPENER

Parts Required:

1 x Bottle Opener

Installation:

• Remove the preinstalled screws for the bottle opener. Install the

bottle opener on the hopper.

15. PLACING THE DIFFUSER PLATE

Parts Required:

1 x Diffuser Plate

(#22)

Installation:

• First, place the diffuser plate into the bottom of the main barrel so the

central opening aligns directly with the circular fire pot on the base of

the main barrel. The diffuser plate does not require fastening to the

bottom of the main barrel or the fire pot.
