b. REMOTE CONTROL SWITCHES

AUTOPILOT CONTROL WHEEL SWITCH CAP

Figure 7-3

(l) Command trim switch - Split action type switch requiring

the top bar to be depressed and the rocker to be moved fore

or aft to cause the electric trim to function from the control

wheel switch. Depressing the center bar will disconnect the

autopilot.

(2) Control wheel steering (CWS) switch - See explanation in

Special Modes and Operations Section.

(3) Master disconnect switch - Pressing this switch will

disconnect autopilot and interrupt command / autotrim while

depressed. Trim operation will resume when the switch is

released.
