clock displays.
Setting up the remote to
control your TV
You can set up the supplied remote to
control your TV (the default setting is for a
Pioneer TV).
1 Switch on your TV.
2 Find the name of the manufacturer
of your TV in the Preset code list
(pages 86–87).
Next to each manufacturer is one or more
three digit codes. These tell the remote what
kind of TV you have.
If the name of the manufacturer of your TV
does not appear in the table, you won’t be
able to set up this remote to control your TV.
4 Use the SEAT POSITION buttons
to select a listening position relative to
your TV.
• The seat position buttons correspond to
the number buttons on the remote.
5 Press ENTER.
• You can check the current settings by
pressing ROOM SETUP . Press twice if
you want to change them.
Setting the clock
In order to be able to use the timer features
of this system, you should set the clock.
When the time is not set, the clock display
blinks.

1 Press TIMER (CLOCK ADJ).
2 If ‘Clock Adjust’ isn’t already showing
in the display, use the / (cursor left/
right) buttons to select it.
