12. Completion of installation

Press the main unit's front panel
STANDBY/ON
button and wait until
the unit enters the standby mode.

Once the main unit is in the standby
mode, set the unit's main power
switch (on rear panel) to OFF, then
disconnect the power cord from its
power outlet.
NOTE:
Do not leave the power to the unit turned
on when
tray panel 2
is not installed (see
step 11 for installation instructions). If
tray
panel 2
is not installed, dust may be pulled
into the unit more easily, leading to
malfunctions in recording and playback.

Press the
STANDBY/ON
button to
turn on power again to the PRV-LX1.
NOTE:
When the unit's power is turned on again,
if the monitor screen again shows the
setting menu (see step
4
"monitor screen
message"), there is a possibility that the
commercial software disc inserted in step
6
was not marketed for region 2. In this
case, exchange the disc for a proper region
2 disc, and perform the setting again
beginning from step
4
.

several times until the
DVD2
indicator
lights.

Press the
PLAY
button and confirm
that play is possible from drive 2
(DVD2).

been performed:
Press the
drive 2 EJECT
button to
open the disc table, and install the tray

instructions "

Install tray panel 2 to
the drive 2 disc table
" found on the
p r e v i o u s p a g e . T h e n , l o a d a
commercial software title in the disc
table and press the
PLAY
button to
confirm that playback is possible from
drive 2 (DVD2).

Press the
STOP
button to stop
playback, and press the
drive 2 EJECT
button to open the disc table.

Remove the disc and press the
drive
2 EJECT
button to close the disc table
again.
