5. When the checksum is correct, enter the Power Adjustment Mode and execute the LD power adjustment.
To enter the Power Adjustment Mode, press [SEARCH] on the remote control unit for service.
Entering the Power Adjustment Mode displays the following screen and opens the tray automatically.

6. Close the tray manually to execute the LD power adjustment mode.
You can check the progress of adjustment in the following screen.

Step Mode : D V D Read Power

7. When D V D Disc Judgment is displayed in the Step Mode, the tray opens automatically.
Place D V DT-002 in the tray. The tray closes after 15 seconds from the time it opened.
If the adjustment for D V D disc judgment is completed successfully, CD Disc Judgment is displayed in the Step Mode.
When the tray does not open
•
Check if flexi b le ca b les and wire rods are connected properly.
• Errors in the loader, main b oard, or power source b oard are
suspected.
Explanation on Step Mode (time needed)

D V D Read Power (approx. 10 sec.)
Adjustment of D V D play b ack power
• RAM Read Power (approx. 20 sec.)
Adjustment of RAM play b ack power
• D V D Write Power (approx. 40 sec.)
Adjustment of D V D recording power
• CD Read Power (approx. 10 sec.)
Adjustment of CD play b ack power
• D V D Disc Judgment (approx. 30 sec.)
Adjustment for D V D disc judgment
• CD Disc Judgment (approx. 30 sec.)
Adjustment for CD disc judgment
If the adjustment for D V D disc judgment is not completed successfully
• A disc other than D V DT-002 may have b een placed.
Place D V DT-002 in the tray.
8 . When CD Disc judgment is displayed in the Step Mode, the tray opens automatically.
Place CDT-313 in the tray. The tray closes after 15 seconds from the time it opened.
If the adjustment for CD disc judgment is completed successfully, the following screen is displayed.
Since the judgment is completed successfully, press [CLEAR] on the remote control unit for service and exit
from the adjustment mode.

9. Turn off the power.
If the adjustment for CD disc judgment is not completed successfully
•
A disc other than CDT-313 may have b een placed.
Place CDT-313 in the tray.
