4.5 HOW TO CHANGE THE DESTINATION SETTING
Procedures for Changing the Destination Setting After the Main Board is Replaced
1. Downloading the Firmware for Service
• Download the firmware for service of the product.
Download and store the following 3 files into a USB storage device.
BDP-150 series
• BDP-170_SP.bin
1 Press the HOME MENU button to display the HOME
MENU screen.
2 Move the cursor to Initial Setup then press the ENTER
button.
3 Move the cursor to Options then press the ENTER button.
Note:
In the case of the BDP-80FD, after the MAIN BOARD Assy is replaced, the frequency of the video output signals will become
50 Hz, which may disable some TVs from displaying videos. In such a case, play back a BD disc for use in the U.S.A.
(with 60-Hz video output), stop playback, then display the menu screen. With the above steps, the frequencies of all the video
output signals from the unit will automatically be changed to 60 Hz, which then will enable the TV to display videos.
4 Move the cursor to Update then press the ENTER button.
