Using Loop MIDI
You can use the effect levers to control looping of DJ software effects (loop playback start/
stop of sampler slot 1, etc.).
•
For information on the DJ software effect assignments for loop control, read the software
instruction manual (page 6).
1 Press the relevant [FX SELECT] button while pressing the
[SHIFT] button to switch to Loop MIDI 1 or Loop MIDI 2 mode.

2 Press the [FX SELECT] button to which the effect you want to
loop is assigned.

You can select multiple effects if you press multiple [
FX SELECT
] buttons.
3 Set the effect lever to [ON] or [LOCK ON].
Looping of the selected DJ software effect starts.

If you use the effect lever while pressing the [
SHIFT
] button, you can use different
functions.
The functions assigned to Loop MIDI depend on the DJ software you use. The default
settings are as follows:
