Playback
Adjusting the playback speed without changing
the pitch (Key Lock)
If you turn Key Lock on, you can change the playback speed of a track using the [
TEMPO
]
slider without changing the pitch.
1 Press the [Key Lock] button to turn Key Lock on.
The button lights up when Key Lock is turned on.

Press the [
Key Lock
] button again to turn Key Lock off.
Using the jog wheels
You can use the following features in combination with the jog wheel.

You can set the rotation speed of the jog wheel to 33 rpm or 45 rpm by pressing the [
33
] or
[
45
] button.
Function
Description
Scratch
Turn the jog wheel while touching the top during playback to
scratch a track.
Release the jog wheel to resume normal playback.
JOG SKIP
Turn the top of the jog wheel while pressing the [
SHIFT
]
button to cycle through tracks with extra speed according to
the rotation direction. If you release the [
SHIFT
] button, it
changes to scratch operation and you can fine-adjust the
playback position.
