VERIFICATION PROCEDURE
The 40-412 contains no adjustable parts, performance is guaranteed by the design without adjustment.
he
does not re uire routine verification owever some users ma need to have a routine rocedure for
verification im osed on a s stem for other reasons so the following is a rocedure which demonstrates that the
40-412 is working correctly. It tests that the output drives are operating and that the digital inputs can read back their
status.
Required Test Equipment
The following is required to verify the 40-412:
A voltage source capable of being set to 0V and 20V.
fi ture which can e created from a

such as 40-960-078 or 40-965-078.

The power supply should be connected to the 40-412 ground and Vext pins, ensuring the positive terminal is
connected to Vext.
NOTE: The power supply should be set with a 100mA current limit.

All 32 channel drivers are connected to the potential divider mid-point. All 32 digital inputs are connected to the
potential divider mid-point.
