DDR SDRAM

The phyCORE-MCF548x is equipped with fast "Double Data Rate
Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory" DDR

SDRAM

devices. This memory is connected to the dedicated SDRAM interface
provided by the MCF548x ColdFire processor. This enables the
processor to communicate at full core speed of 200 MHz.

The DDR SDRAM memory bank consist of two devices with 16-bit
port size each in parallel to support the 32-bit bus width of the
processor. The memory bank is controlled by Chip Select signal
/SD_CS0 of the processor’s DDR SDRAM controller.

Table 6 shows all possible memory configurations.
